Transparent Intimacy/ Vulnerable Objects
Transparent Intimacy was a two-person exhibition, featuring Michelle Lee and Miriam Vergara. Transparent Intimacy explored the interconnections between people as a necessity to the authentic life, highlighting the importance of vulnerable intimacy as a key component to interactions within society.
In Vulnerable Objects, Miriam curated a collection of items from her childhood that represented love, obsession and mysticism along with woven artwork that captured, recreated/distorted moments and memories of her upbringing (specifically relating to family, the family members who raised her and the homes she’s lived in.)
