Bounce Back Rug

The Bounce Back Rug is a rug design created for a yarn company, Gist Yarn, in 2021. It was created for Gist Yarn’s audience, available as a pattern weave.

Inspired by the theme of renewal, I pitched, the Bounce Back Rug, a double weave rug that included leno and plain weave techniques to demonstrate that hope is always there to catch you when you fall. While creating this design, I researched the Leno and double cloth techniques, chose the color story, created the pattern, wove the sample and collaborated with Gist Yarn team members to improve the language of the document for their audience.
