Bounce Back Rug

The Bounce Back Rug is a rug design created for a yarn company, Gist Yarn, in 2021. It was created for Gist Yarn’s audience, available as an instructional weaving pattern.

Inspired by the theme of renewal, the double weave rug included leno and plain weave techniques to demonstrate that hope is always there to catch you when you fall.

Project Involvement: Researching the Leno and double cloth techniques, design creation, pitching the design, choosing the color story, creating the pattern, weaving samples and collaborating with Gist Yarn team members to improve the instructional language for their audience.
